New Stirling Course Promotes the Social Enjoyment of Golf

A new six-hole golf course in Stirling, Scotland, which focuses on the enjoyment and participation of golf, has recently opened its doors to the public.

“This course has been funded and developed by Stirling golf club itself, along with funding from Sport Scotland, amongst other key local sponsors and stakeholders that share a vested interest in its success” commented Anthony Blackburn from Golf Society.

“A course like this is the perfect way to maintain enjoyment of golf for as long as possible. It caters for the young girls and boys who are learning the game, as well as providing a challenging 18-hole golf course, and then this six-hole course – for those who perhaps are no longer able to play 18 holes.

“You could say the facility represents your golfing life, all in one place.”

You can find out more about the new six-hole facility and the day of opening in the video below.
